Does RotaTally need an account?
No. The core app works locally without registration.
How long does a rota scan take?
Most clear images take a few seconds to process. Upload speed, image size, small text, and the number of staff can affect the wait.
How does RotaTally find me on a staff rota?
Enter your name before scanning. RotaTally reads the visible staff labels, suggests the safest match, and asks you to confirm. If it is not you, choose another detected name. Always review the proposed shifts before importing them.
Can I see my full rota?
Yes. Open My Rota and switch between Week and Month. You can move through earlier or later periods, see hours and expected pay, add shifts, scan another rota, or delete an incorrect shift.
Does it work for overnight shifts?
Yes. A finish time earlier than the start is treated as finishing the next day.
Why might RotaTally differ from my payslip?
RotaTally estimates gross pay from the shifts and rules you record. Payroll cut-off dates, rounding, holiday pay, tax, pension, deductions, or employer-specific rules can create differences. RotaTally does not provide payroll, tax, or legal advice.
How should I report a calculation issue?
Send the shift start and finish, break duration, snapshotted hourly rate, and the result you expected. Avoid sending a full unredacted payslip.
Subscriptions
How do I restore RotaTally Pro?
Open Settings in RotaTally and choose Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account that made the purchase. Use Manage Subscription to change or cancel your plan. If access is not restored, email support with the product name and approximate purchase date. Never send payment-card details.
